Jordy's Quilt!

Jordyn aka: Jordy is my baby niece.  She is completely wonderful and I'm 100% in love with this baby.  She lives in Maine with the rest of my family while I am in Texas.  This makes it difficult to be as involved in watching her grow up as much as I would like to be.  But, Auntie Sara sure can spoil her from Austin!  My brother (her father) is a rocker to say the least and loves to find funky things for Jordy (skulls, band onsies, giving her mohawks) so I went with it with her newest quilt!  I LOVED making this, it was so much fun to use these fabrics.  Can't wait to get started using the scraps on other fun things.

Friday Night Sew In

Last night I participated in the Friday Night Sew In.  I had started out working on a quilt for my niece but after the third mis-cut I decided to put it away before I wasted any more fabric!  I did finish up another pouch for my Aunt Kathy.  She loves cats and requested a make-up pouch for her upcoming vacation to Jamaica.  It was a lot of fun to make!

Fun little pouch!

I have been experimenting with pouches lately, trying to try out a bunch of them to decide on which will this years Christmas gifts.  I tried another new one last night.  I love the fabric, next time I think I'll make the accent band a litle thinner, the directions call for the size I did but I want to show off more of the main fabric I think.  Either way, I love this one!

Make Up Bag

Super tired tonight and its VERY late for me so just going to post pictures quickly.  The inside lining color looks terrible in the evening inside light, it matches much better in person, I promise.  It was super easy and fun to make, many more to come I'm sure.  I think I've found my Christmas gifts for this year!
